Ariel Marx

Ariel Marx is a New York City-based composer for fi lm and multimedia. She is also a violinist/fi ddler and maintains her repertoire in jazz, experimental improvisation, and traditional Irish, Scottish, Swedish and American folk music.

Ariel is a visual artist as well, and creates animations, paintings and shadow boxes that tell original short stories - many of which she has scored.

Ariel is currently attending New York University on scholarship to receive her Masters in Music Composition for Film and Multimedia. She is also the Music Supervisor and Composer for the short film I Can't Be Seen Like This written and directed by Anna Gunndís Guðmundsdóttir.
