Before graduating from Sarah Lawrence College in 2010 Sydney began interning at a small production company, Anchor Light, in Brooklyn, NY where she eventually became a full Producer in Winter 2011 and Head of Production in 2014.
Sydney has worked on commercial projects that have won or been short listed for awards as diverse as the VMAs (Usher’s “Climax”) and the Cannes Lions (“Abandoned” for Chipotle Cultivate).
Sydney is now an MFA Candidate at NYU’s Graduate Film Program, but had previously worked on many NYU grad film productions including production managing ‘Black Dog Red Dog’ a feature produced by James Franco in conjunction with NYU in 2012, as well as co-producing ‘Afronauts’ a short film by Frances Bodomo which premiered at Sundance 2014 and has played at Berlin and New Directors New Films among many others. Sydney’s currently producing a television series for MTV World, anticipating her second year at NYU and producing the short film I Can't Be Seen Like This.
