María Pálsdóttir

María is a trained actor, teacher and guide who lives in Akureyri. She aims to introduce mobile sauna to the Nordic region because she was completely fascinated when she tried it in the south, and has taken a Gúsmeister course and found the right sauna and trailer, and plans to make her dream of offering sauna to the north come true. She founded and runs HÆLIÍD, a center about the history of tuberculosis in Kristnesi in Eyjafjarðarsveit, and was a huge help in Karolina dund when she was preparing for that project. She also founded Fiðringur, which is like Skrekkur in Reykjavík and Skjálftinn in the South.
