I studied choreography at SNDO (School for New Dance Development) in Amsterdam, and contemporary dance at P.A.R.T.S in Brussels 2006-2010. I've made and choreographed different performances in Iceland and abroad and taught classical ballet at the Iceland Academy of the Arts. I've worked with the Belgian choreographer Wim Vandekeybus and choreographed stage movements at the National Theater of Iceland. An on going fascination through my work is combining live music and dance on stage. The Jukebox, a performance concert was premiered at the Reykjavik Arts Festival 2012 and The Rite of Spring a collaborative performance between the Icelandic Dance Company and the Icelandic Symphony orchestra at the same festival 2013.
Last but not least I am a proud member of John the Houseband, a performance band that dances concerts and sings choreographies. I sing, play the banjolele and rock the synthesizer.
