Örn, Össi, 7berg, or SelurOneNoRules, is a multi medial artist with a long track record of expanding peoples minds in ways of painting and poetry, making Reykjavík continuously more beautiful one wall at the time with his imaginative animal motifs, as well as rapping about realness with næsness.
Most known as 7berg, Örn also collaborates with countless rappers and other artists. Stay tuned for his newest project Arkir, due to bring some new beats to the upcoming Secret Solstice festival.
Örn has been an prominent part of Iceland's art scene for over a decade, as productive a musician as a painter, and besides all the walls he beautifies, he somehow he also finds time to design and paint an insane amount of bars, restaurants, hotels and construction sites.
A perfect example he was one of the wellness warriors behind the Hjartagarðurinn or Heart garden.
In 2012, Örn together with fellow graffiti artists turned the middle of Reykjavík into an animated colorsplash of communal space and recreation area, as well as a well needed skatepark.
Sadly it's gone now making way for shops and hotels, but it was beautiful. Next step is making a heart house instead.
Since veganæsing himself around two years ago, him and Linnea have collaborated on various veganæsing projects such as illustrated recipes, a how to course in vegan sauce and Össi has designed some great looks for Linneas menus.
They got great plans to put their veganæs vibes to print in the future, many conversations on what people seem to want to learn more about, and how, resulted in the concept.
We don't want to make follow instructions cookbooks, but instead show how to hack vegan food, after cracking the code you can make it your own.
The same principle they based their cooking course on, 'Secret sauciety'.
The secret is there is no secret, good food and saucy stuff for everyone!
Örn is a prolific maker of merch, for himself as well as designing and printing clothes, logos and posters for other local artists.
In the studio GalleryGallera, there was up until recently a store he shared with other designers and painters, where you could buy some of Örn's prints and clothes to keep. Örn's designs keep spreading without needing a shop.
Since veganæsing himself, Örn's art has definitely taken on some vegan vibe as well.
