Lilja Katrín Gunnarsdóttir

Thanks for checking my profile here at Karolina Fund. My name is Lilja Katrín. I'm a mother, dog owner, wife, actress, journalist and owner of the baking blog Blaka. I also own and run a company with my husband, Gre, that specializes in web design and development - Vefgerðin.

I had worked as a full time journalist for over ten years when I decided to quit my job and move my family to Thailand for three months in the beginning of 2015. Since then I've just had journalism on the side and frequently write pieces for Gay Iceland - an online, queer news outlet.

My biggest passion when it comes to work is creating things. I love brainstorming with my husband who is the most amazing person I have ever met and he always pushes me further and further. Another inspiration are my daughters why never cease to amaze me.
