Hi my name is Valdís!
I am a nurse at the emergency ward at Akureyri Hospital, one the owners of Cuddle-Me and a mother of three children.
Me and my husband love to go camping with our family during the summer, find a nice spot where time stands still, the children play together and we can get in touch with nature.
I am stubborn and ambitious. If I start something, I finish it, and I do it well. Five years ago I didn't know how to knit, today my knitting is only limited by my imagination; a few years back I didn't run, now I run three times a week with a great group of runners. Before I had my first child I didn't bake much and surely I didn't decorate the cakes. Today I make cakes in all kinds of different sizes, shapes and colors - including Olaf from Frozen!
