While other companies use less expensive carded cotton, MYNKA only utilizes Premium cotton for all our T-Shirts. The superior quality of the fabric lends a lightweight yet extra soft hand feel.

MYNKA presents itself as a unique middle ground for people who appreciate high quality t-shirts. In today’s world, we see the line between dressy and casual, preppy and urban, mainstream and underground growing blurrier every day, and I believe my line is positioned to embrace that shift. I pledge to put the garment first, all the prints are digital HD quality– providing high quality products with fresh, in-your-face graphics that connect with people on a deeper level than the typical knee-jerk response to a company logo. While others have tried to use their name to sell the design, I'm committed to using the design to sell my name.

To get the best designs for our lines we have a special program WAD (We Are Designers) where all the designers and urban artists are invited to take part in the brand.

We want to work directly with surf, skate, snowboard and bmx riders to promote the sport and their values and with that develop the best skate and snowboard products.

Music is always connected in our show rooms, party's and day to day office work which give us the best inspiration.

"We Are Design" is an ongoing program to showcase the talent of established as well as unknown urban artists who inspire our generation. Through the course of this program, MYNKA will donate some of its partial profits from designs sold to street artists around world.
The artists that work with MYNKA will have a profile and their work in annual Art Book, on Facebook and MYNKA’s website to display their skills.

My name is Hugo Poge. I came up with the idea for MYNKA a long time ago, but I didn't have the start-up capital or the experience to properly pursue this dream. Over the last ten years I've been lucky enough to work with some of the world's leading apparel brands like Onda, Nikita, k2, Onezeroone Wetsuits, GTboards, and many more. Through these experiences I've gained the knowledge I believe will make MYNKA a success and I am ready to make this dream a reality, but I can't do it without your help.

I've dedicated the last 10 years of my life to apparel graphic design/product developer and I have spent thousands of hours developing MYNKA. For the last year I have been researching trends, creating designs, building the website, marketing, and networking; now it is time to see which of these designs are going in to production. Your contribution will not only get you an awesome t-shirt, but it will also help fund the 1st line in 2015. Without your support and contribution, the production process will not be possible

Iceland has many Skate, Snowboard and BMX riders. I know that the riders dream is to wear an Icelandic brand.

Music is one of the strong sides of the Icelandic culture and we want to be a part of it.
