Listamaður í áskrift

Skúli mennski er uppalinn á Ísafirði og hóf að semja eigin lög og texta á unglingsaldri. Árið 2010 ákvað hann að gera alvöru úr sinni tónlistariðkun og beit það í sig að gefa út fimm plötur á fimm árum. Nú vantar aðeins eina uppá. Stefnan er að taka hana upp í haust, fjármagna verkefnið og koma henni út í nóvember.

Á þessum stutta tíma hefur Skúli komið fram á mörgum helstu tónlistarhátíðum á Íslandi og haldið tónleika víða um land, gefið út fjórar plötur með hljómsveit og reynt fyrir sér erlendis.

Samhliða gerð fimmtu plötunnar býður Skúli neytendum upp á þá nýjung að gerast ársáskrifendur af störfum hans. Áskriftinni fylgja auk eins lags á mánuði, dagbók með því sem helst er á döfinni, almennum vangaveltum og bransasögum og kostakjör á tónleika og af útgefnu efni.

Since the year 2010 Skúli mennski has published for LP´s and been active in the Icelandic music scene. Now he want´s to crowdfund his fifth album and offer people a subscription to his work.

Skúli mennski is raised in Ísafjörður Iceland and started to write his own songs and lyrics in his early teens. In the year 2010 he decided to focus on his music career and release five albums in five years. Now there is one to go. The plan is to record it this autumn and release it in November.

In this short period of time Skúli has performed in many of the major music festivals in Iceland performed all over the country, released four albums with a band and been on several tours abroad.

Along with the making of his fifth album Skúli is offering a new kind of approach to his music by offering listeners a subscription to his work. A subscription will provide you with a one song every month, the artists diary, including news and stories and of course some concert and album offers.
