Kjass is an authentic singer/songwriter that collaborates with excellent musicians to transform her music into magic. Kjass is now preparing the release of her second album Bleed´n Blend, which will be released in August. Her debut album Rætur, meaning roots was released in the fall of 2018 and was nominated as the album of the year in its category at the Icelandic Music Awards.

Sound Recording and Design

The album was recorded by Sigfús Jónsson from Hljómbræður. Kjartan Kjartansson is the sound designer of the album and has done a terrific job adding the creme to the cake so to speak. Making the album sound like melting chocolate in your mouth.

He has worked with Icelands most know jazz players such as Sunna Gunnlaugs, Tómas R. Einarsson and Unnur Sara. But he is mostly known for his sound design in movies such as Angels of the Universe, The Children of Nature, A Little Trip to Heaven, The Deep and many more.
