Further Information

I am a graphic designer and for the past 25 years I have been creating artwork on the side, both here in Iceland and in the USA. Eight years ago, as I was starting paternal leave, I decided to create a sugarsweet world with character inspired by our son. I continued working on the pictures after the paternal leave ended, and when our daughter was born 5 years ago I added a character inspired by her. I called this sweet world “Bonís”, which is a combination of the word “kandís” (an icelandic type of candy) and the word “bonbon”, which means candy in french. In September I will put up an art show of the Bonís world in the exhibitions room of Mosfellsbær. It would be great to be able to add these cups to the show. Of course it would be wonderful if you came to the opening of the exhibition on the 10th of September, or if you could visit during the month of the show (until 8th of October) :)

These cups will be produced in a limited edition by the german company Könitz, well known for manufacturing high quality porcelain cups.
