Hjaltalín is one of Iceland’s best-loved bands. Their string of albums from 2007-2012 (Sleepdrunk Seasons, 2007; Terminal, 2009; Enter 4, 2012) made them household names in Iceland and eventually took them around the world. But the band has kept a low profile lately while the band members have focused on other projects, both professional and personal.

‘Baronesse’ is the first song unveiled from the upcoming album. It came out in January and is currently sitting at the top of the national radio charts. The band has amassed a lot of material in the seven years since Enter 4 was released and is excited to finally share more music with the world. We expect the album to be released in the fall, digitally and as a double LP in gatefold sleeve.

Furthermore, we are playing a concert in Eldborg, the main room of Harpa Music Hall, on September 7th. This will be our biggest show in quite a long time and will serve as the perfect venue to premiere many of the new songs live and revisit some older ones.
