Andagift is a sacred space that offers a diverse kind of spiritual practices, sound healing, deep relaxation, meditation and cacao ceremonies. We also offer private sessions, workshops and special events. In the space will be a little boutique with organic quality products, crystals and yumminess for body and soul. We will also open up a homepage for the movement www.andagift.is which will be an easy platform for people to follow what Andagift has to offer.

Why ANDAGIFT?
We are living interesting times these days, time where the truth is taking over fear, where honesty and courage is taking over denial and the wounds are open. Time when it is demanded of us to to look within and allow ourselves to live more from the heart. The whole society is going through a massive cleansing and the demand for healing is huge. Movements like #metoo, #iamnottaboo and #speakup have ruled social media and the discussion about spiritual well being probably never been more in out in the air. Anxiety, depression and stress are a growing fact in our society, both for adults and kids. Andagift feel the importance of showing up and take action. Create a platform for unity and a deep breath so together we may heal our wounds. We want to meet this demand with open arms, throw workshops, open for the discussion and offer a refuge where you can take off your masks. Andagift is a movement where everyone is welcomed to join for more peace of mind and deeper heart connections. So we can say that cacao is truly one of the most amazing super foods we have and nurtures our body, mind and soul.

About the cacao
Cacao has for ages been called "Food of the gods" and Mayans call it "Heart blood" since its been used as a heart opening medicine in ceremonies for centuries. The cacao we work with is 100% pure ceremonial cacao from the rain forests in Guatemala. It is hand picked from bean to the cup which means all the nutrients and its quality stays perfect in the process. Cacao is rich of many important nutrients, for example it has over 1000 antioxidants, highest amount of magnesium of all plants, iron, chromium and B-vitamin. It lowers blood pressure, balances hormone production, strengthens the immune system and boosts serotonin production.

Last few years more and more people are getting to know the benefits from cacao and more and more people are working with it connected to healing and spiritual practices. Now Andagift opens the first Cacao temple Iceland, in the heart of Reykjavík. // Now Andagift opens the first space where the cacao leads all practis, it is first of its kind in Iceland for all to enjoy.

Who are we?
We are friends that have worked together for few months holding cacao ceremonies and mantra singing circles. The respond has been far out of our expectations and the interest in spiritual matters obviously rising fast. So we thought "Let's do more to celebrate this movement?" We felt the calling for creating our own space for practise and teachings and in few days it happened. Andagift was born and ready to spread the love!

Lára Rúnarsdóttir is a musician and a kundalini teacher. She has published 5 albums of her own music and her last album Þel was told both dreamy and healing. Lára has performed around the world and participated in the adventure of Húni with Mugison, Jónas Sig, Óm ar Guðjóns, Arnari Gísla og Guðna Finns where they sailed around Iceland and held concerts for the rescue of the country. Lára finsished Kundalini teacher training in 2013 and connected specially to mantras and their power to calm the mind and find balance between mind and heart. Mantra, which means the freedom of the mind, can sound within, can be listened to or sang up loud.

Tinna Sverrisdóttir graduated as an actress in 2012 from the Iceland academy of the arts and works as a musician as well. She is one of the founders of Reykjavíkurdætur (Daughters of Reykjavik)and played on festivals around the world with them along holding workshops for young girls and teeenagers. She is also a band member of Kronika. Tinna finished a study in Guatemala in 2017 from "Yoga of sound and chocolate" where she worked closely with the cacao plant and studied sound healing. In the study learnt to sing with her heart and smile with her eyes so now she offers private sessions with cacao, meditation, voice work with the chakras, self massage and deep and a journey to the heart.

What is next?
Now we have founded the movement and company ANDAGIFT, we found a space at Rauðarárstígur 1 and our brainstorming is going great. Now we only need help to get us inside, buy equipment, decorate and make cosy and buy a whole bunch of chocolate for everyone to enjoy.
