Further Information

Nýdönsk was founded in 1987 and will celebrate this anniversary by releasing a new album. A string orchestra will add new dimensions to the songs of Björn Jörundur, Daníel Ágúst, Stefán Hjörleifsson, Ólafur Hólm and Jón Ólafsson. Recordings will take place in Toronto, Kanada and in Reykjavik, Iceland. Nýdönsk, accompanied by string orchestra, will perform this new material as well as their greatest hits in Eldborg, Harpa on September 23rd 2017.
