A dialogue about nothing, a cosmological philosophy-thriller by Greppur Torfason.
This is a project for a book in Icelandic. If you're Icelandic, please go to the Icelandic version of this project.
The Dew-point Conjecture is a book of cosmological text which challenges the basic premises of the Big-Bang theory and puts forth an alternate context model of ideas as a conjecture based on inductive arguments grounded on scientific facts.
I started writing the Dew-point Conjecture in late 2011 after years of research and contemplation, and finished writing it a year later, in November 2012. Before this, I had made several attempts at placing these ideas into words. Since completion of the text, I have been reviewing and criticizing it. Now, I feel it is time to publish the book, and thus free my mind for something else.
The book is written in Icelandic, being published in its debut edition, and at present there exist no plans for a translation of any sort. This may change however.
The book contains just over 340 pages in total (roughly 114.000 words).
The book has a homepage with PDF samples - alas, in Icelandic only:
