Chocolate is our passion

SÖLVA Chocolates got into the StartUp Reykjavík program this summer. There we get lectures and help from experienced individuals with starting our company. Our aim is to start producing in the end of August so we can start selling our delicious chocolate in the beginning of September.

Cocoa beans from Tanzania

The cocoa beans that we buy come from the farmers association Kokoa Kamili. They use a high portion of their profit to build up schools, hospitals and orphanages in Tanzania.

Packaging design

Product Design is one of the most important factors which determines the success of a product. Our graphic designer has created colorful packaging that stands out and draws a lot of attention. If you take a close look on them you can see that it looks like you are watching an Icelandic landscape from above.

The team

SÖLVA Chocolates consists of five individuals, recently graduated from the Commercial Collage of Iceland, who all have the same dream to run their own chocolate company.

Rewards

SÖLVA Chocolates competed in the Junior Achievement awards in Iceland and won. Next up is to compete on behalf of Iceland in the European competition.
